Poverty
Poverty. The state of being poor. Most people thankfully never have to experience this.
Through our youth club, we provide early intervention in the lives of young people, bringing them together across community and cultural lines into a safe space where we provide a platform to learn and a warm, welcoming service for them to continue to receive guidance and support.
We have built a studio in which they will be taught new skills through the use of creative media like graphic design, audio and video editing, dance, drama and music.
It’s a safe space for the teens to chill and have fun. We’ll provide board games, Table Tennis, Music , Nintendo Switch, a Tuck shop & many more.
An opportunity to gain debating skills which will sharpen their critical reasoning skills, put their knowledge into action, explore complex issues, demonstrate their understanding and to help them to engage constructively with each other. These are transferrable skills that would help them in a workplace environment.
They will have the ability and knowledge needed to interact with computer-based technologies and perform technical tasks. Tech skills are as hard skills because they're usually learned and sustained through education, repetition and training which they will do through video editing, website creation and many more.
Engaging in Drama delivers big boosts in confidence, creativity, and cognitive functioning for the children of every age and background and will enable them to have the confidence and direction they need to thrive on stage.
We help young people learn essential life skills and engaging them in activities to build their confidence, improve their communication skills, and help them to maximise their potentials.
